Launch of the new interdisciplinary Center SPIRAL

Abstract
IP Paris has inaugurated in June its fifth interdisciplinary center: SPIRAL. Institut Polytechnique de Paris has launched this center in collaboration with some twenty partners (Inria, CNRS, art schools such as Louis Lumière and the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs, and museums such as the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle and the Mus’X). SPIRAL represents a unique initiative in France, combining scientific expertise, artistic creation and civic commitment to anticipate, through a transdisciplinary approach, all the scientific, economic and societal challenges brought about by the digital and ecological disruption we’ll be experiencing in the near future (metaverses, new social media, web3.0, augmented realities, etc.). Raphael Granier de Cassagnac is the Center project leader.
